Here is another example of what you can sew with laminated cotton. I made this apron yesterday and was surprised how quick and easy this was.

This apron is based on this tutorial, however, I adjusted the measurements somewhat as the tutorial is written in inches.
I used a piece of laminated cotton of 50cm x 60cm, and 2m of twill tape.

This means that if you buy 50cm of laminated cotton, you will be able to make 2 aprons out of it! (As our laminated cotton is 140cm wide)

Not only is this apron really quick to make, it is easily adjustable to the size of the child as the twill tape is not stitched in.
If you are concerned about sewing with laminated cotton, you can use a Teflon coated sewing foot or a walking foot. However, a cheaper alternative is to put matt scotch tape to the bottom of your sewing foot and the sewing plate. This worked well for me.
