The Zip Zap Coverall is a warm and cosy coverall (onesie) perfect for kids of all ages!
Choose between a lined or unlined garment. You can add a zip guard or zip facing. An
overlocker/serger will create the neatest finish but importantly, a sewing machine is all you need for all options.

SKILL LEVEL: Adventurous Beginner - Intermediate.

SIZING: Ages from 0/3 months  - 12 years.

SUPPLIES:
Zip: One closed zip is required. See the table in Fabric Requirements for the length.

Interfacing: A small amount of light/medium interfacing is required (less than 5cm by full width.)

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Main Fabric: Medium weight knit fabric, eg. cotton/Lycra french terry, fleece etc. Lighter weight knit fabrics such as cotton/Lycra jersey can be used but will make the finished garment feel larger.

Lining Fabric: Medium weight warm stretch fabrics such as thin fleece. Thicker stretch fabrics such as sherpa/teddy can be used but are only recommended for those experienced at sewing zips.

Facing Fabric: Any fabric from the main or lining lists. Stable/lower stretch fabrics are easier to handle here.

Cuffs: Cotton/Lycra jersey or cotton/Lycra ribbing
