The Zamora Skirt is a petticoat skirt with varying widths of tucks throughout its two-tiered design. Inspired by vintage skirts, it is modernized with an elastic waistband for comfort. This pattern is full of details but is actually very beginner-friendly! We have created a paperless guide if you want to avoid taping together endless sheets of paper and a step-by-step video tutorial to make sewing each tuck a breeze. Available for kids here!

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Light to mid-weight fabrics are recommended for this pattern. Choose a nice crisp cotton Poplin or linen for a more structured look, or a tencel for a flowy drapey feel. On this pattern in particular, you may need to cut out pattern pieces on the cross grain in order to get the appropriate width. Please consider this when selecting fabric with a directional print.
