Sybil is a high-waisted shorts that looks like a skirt with two slant pockets on the hips and a zip plus hook or button on the wearer’s left side. The fullness of the shorts creates a flare, giving it a skirt-like appearance. It’s the ideal summer garment! But you could also make versions for more autumnal weather by using a thicker fabric. To hang nicely, the fabric should have a certain amount of fluidity.

DIFFICULTY: Intermediate
