This simple shell shape is cut with the sleeve and body as one. A diamond insert under the arm provides the shape and for movement around the body.
The plain navy dress is finished with twin needle hem. The colour blocked dress is in a boiled wool to allow for a raw edged finish.

Fabric suggestions: This structured shape works best in fabrics with some body especially felted and boiled wools, hi-tech fabrics and neoprenes. The fabrics must have some give, not suitable for rigid woven fabrics.
