The Sasha Shift Dress is a simple mini dress with an all-in-one facing and pockets. It features a square neckline at the front and at the back. This versatile design is perfect as a casual dress on a summer day, with heels for a night out, or with a turtleneck and stockings for a cozy winter day.
Some ideas for possible hacks: A tank top version. A maxi version with side slits. A frill at the hem.

Fabric Recommendations: Light- to mid weight woven fabrics are best suited for this pattern. It is very tempting to make this pattern in a heavy weight fabric, but look at the width of the straps and remember that this is an all-in-one facing (meaning that you will have to pull one side of your dress through that strap loop). So, please do not go too heavy weight. The denim used for the denim sample (350g/m2 or 12oz) is the heaviest possible fabric. If you work with heavier weight fabric, you might choose to finish the neckline and armholes using bias binding instead of the all-in-one-facing.
