Oria is a small jumper that will be perfect to make in a lightweight knit for mid-season.  Its neckline sits close to the neck but Oria is easy to put on thanks to its buttoned raglan. Oria is beginner-friendly, making it perfect for a first knitted fabric project!

DIFFICULTY: Beginner

SIZING: 34 to 52

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS (For a width of 140cm):

  • 34 - 40 = 1.2 m
  • 42 - 52 = 1.4 m

SUPPLIES:  

  • 6 buttons with a diameter of approximately 1.5 cm
  • 1.50 metres of stable cotton tape (to finish the neckline)
  • If you are using a very stretchy knit, you might consider using fusible stay tape to reinforce the seam allowances.

RECOMMENDED FABRIC:  

The jumper in the photos was made in a jersey knit, but many other knitted fabrics are suitable, such as jersey, sweatshirt fabric, cable-knit sweat, viscose knit, ribbed knit, or jacquard knit.
