Ollie is a boxy, cropped sweater that combines the best of a sweater and a shirt. The neckline is finished with rib knit and the sleeves with classic cuffs. Finally, a patch pocket near the hem completes the playful look. Ollie is a perfect project for upcycling old blouses and cropped sweatshirts. Bonus points for the faux button details on the front and cuffs - no fuss with buttonholes!

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
For the top, it is best to choose a stretchy fabric with sufficient structure, such as sweatshirt fabric, French terry, Ponte Roma or neoprene. These fabrics ensure a comfortable fit and retain their shape well. For the blouse details (the cuffs and lower section of this design), choose a lightweight, non-stretch woven fabric. Think poplin or cotton twill for a crisp and sleek contrast with the soft, stretchy top. This beautifully highlights the juxtaposition of sporty and classic!
