The Lucien Henley is a timeless piece that is sure to become a trans-seasonal staple. The pattern includes three style options: Style A, which has a more fitted silhouette with set-in short sleeves, and Style B and Style C, which both have a more relaxed cut and slightly dropped shoulders, offering both short and long-sleeved variations, respectively. With the placket and neck binding being adaptable to both knit and woven fabrics, this pattern provides ample opportunities for both creativity and scrap-busting.

Fabric suggestions:
MAIN FABRIC: Light to medium-weight Cotton Spandex knit fabric with a minimum stretch of 20%. Style C could also be made in a medium-weight sweatshirt or Ponte de Roma fabric.
CUFFS (Style C): can be made from the main fabric or from matching ribbing.
PLACKET: This can be made with any light- to medium-weight woven remnant that coordinates with your main T-shirt fabric.
NECK BINDING: if cut on the bias, it can be made from the same woven fabric as the placket. Alternatively, both could be cut from a contrast knit fabric or a ribbing, but any knit fabric used must have good recovery.
