The I CAN Zip Hoodie is a raglan style zip top. It is a great pattern for those looking to sew their first zip in stretch fabrics. There are two zip options. One is simple and designed for those new to sewing zips. It has fewer steps and a simple finish. The second option is a bound zip. This is for those with a little more experience/confidence and creates a very polished finish.

SKILL LEVEL: Adventurous Beginner.

SIZING: Ages from Prem./Small Newborn - 12 years.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Main Fabric: Medium-weight knit fabric, e.g., cotton/Lycra French terry, sweatshirt fleece, etc. Lighter-weight knit fabrics, such as cotton/Lycra jersey, can be used, but they will make the finished garment feel larger.

Hood Lining: Knit fabric, either the same weight or lighter weight than the main fabric. Cotton/Lycra jersey is ideal.

Cuff Fabric: Cotton/Lycra ribbing - See the next page for the ribbing measurements.
