The Ginny top and dress is a casual top featuring a gathered raglan sleeve, centre front seam, tie front and a bias-bound neckline. This pattern has the option of a top version or a dress version. The Ginny dress features a mini-length skirt with instructions on how to add tiers if you would like. The Ginny Top and Dress is perfect for a confident beginner wanting to learn some new skills. This pattern will teach you how to sew a raglan sleeve, create and use bias binding, gather and create ties.

Fabric suggestions:
This pattern is suited to light to mid-weight woven fabrics. Great options include cotton, linen, rayon and seersucker. The fabric you choose can change the look of the final garment. A lightweight fabric will have more drape and may be more difficult to sew. A midweight fabric will create a garment that will have less drape, but you may find it easier to sew.
