The Frankie Dress is a buffet-style mini dress. It features a self-lined crossover bodice, puff sleeves and a two-tiered gathered skirt. This dress has a relaxed, oversized fit. There is the option of pumping up the volume in the dress by increasing the amount of gathered fabric in each tier. This dress has endless opportunities to be modified to your liking: change the neckline, add inseam pockets, or cut into a top.
Difficulty: Adventurous Beginner - Intermediate.

Fabric suggestions:
Light to medium weight woven fabric such as lightweight linen, crinkle linen, cotton lawn or linen rayon blend. If using fabric with a directional print, you will need to take this into consideration and may need to purchase more fabric. The fabric you choose will affect the overall look of your dress - a drapey fabric such as rayon will create a soft, flowy dress, whereas a stiffer fabric will create a larger silhouette.
