Depending on the desired effect, choose a supple fabric that has a lovely drape, or something with a bit more body. If you like a supple fabric, go for viscose (crepe), chambray, crepon or satin. Semi-soft lyocell, seersucker is also a nice option. Prefer a sharper silhouette? Then choose poplin or twill cotton.
