This contemporary scarf looks best in quilted fabric. The design calls for a material with some body, so it holds its shape, and the opening remains well defined. Prefer a softer, more casual version? A wool blend or bouclé with light interfacing can also work beautifully, as long as the fabric is sturdy enough to keep the opening in shape.
