Description

The Charlie Bear & Friends Hood pattern is both fun and functional, providing an alternative to boring hats when it comes to keeping warm in cold weather! You can choose either a hood on its own or a hood with an attached scarf and mittens/pockets.

The pattern and instructions come with 6 animals to choose from (wolf, bear, unicorn, dinosaur, reindeer and fox), but with a little imagination and careful fabric selection, you can make many more.

SKILL LEVEL: Adventurous Beginner.

SIZING: Ages from 1 – XL Adult.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Outer Fabric:
Medium weight fabric is required for the outside. A wide variety of fabrics can be used but faux fur has the most impact. Fleece, minky, tweed and wool blends also work well. Some colour suggestions are given to make realistic hoods, but obviously, any colours can be used.

Inner/ Lining Fabric:
Light/medium weight, soft fabrics are best. Fleece, minky, quilting cotton and brushed cotton all work well.
Use at least one fabric with some structure to it otherwise your hood will be very floppy!
