The Capella Coat is an adventurous beginner pattern designed for woven & quilted fabrics. The design is a nod to your favourite bomber jacket, but with a quilted twist. It features a boxy shape, elasticated back hem, an optional hood, a drawstring, bias-bound seams, and a reversible design. Use pre-quilted fabric for a quick finish, or follow the included step-by-step guide to quilt your own fabric for a truly custom result.
Techniques include continuous bias binding, bias-bound seams, quilting, patch pockets, buttons, and buttonholes. Whether you sew this up with or without the hood, quilt your own fabric or use pre-quilted fabric, Capella is meant to be a fun project with step-by-step instructions guiding you through your next favourite jacket.
