And what's cooler than a regular vest? A vest with buckles, of course! You can choose from a vest with no closures, or with a zipper, clips or ribbons, whichever suits your intended outfit best.
The pattern has instructions for different pocket techniques to mix and match and on how to line the vest, so you can make a really nice reversible one. Benly has a straight and oversized fit, leaving enough room to layer all kinds of garments underneath, from T-shirts to sweaters. The arm holes are roomy enough to accommodate oversized sleeves.

Choose the durability and structure of sturdy materials such as canvas or twill. Water-resistant finishes are handy for outdoor use, and consider denim or corduroy for a touch of style. Strong, lightweight fabrics like nylon are also a perfect choice for a smooth, easy-to-wear look. Quilted fabrics and teddies are ideal for a warmer version.
