These classic men’s trousers look like dress pants but feel more like sweatpants. Designed for woven fabrics with some stretch, it’s the details that make these trousers special. They include a classic zipper fly with zipper shield, angled front pockets with a concealed change pocket, back darts, back welt pockets, and a waistband with elastic side panels. The inseam is moved forward to give you truly comfortable and well-fitting trousers for every occasion, from relaxing on the sofa to professional attire.

This pattern works best with lightweight trouser fabrics like cotton twill, canvas, and wool suiting with at least a little stretch. (They’ll be more comfortable with a stretch fabric, although they can be made using fabric without stretch.)
