Description

The Carolina Culottes are the perfect blend of casual comfort and effortless style. This pattern features an elasticised back and flat front waistband designed to sit just above your hips. The front pleat adds structure, but also allows more room through the thigh area. Plus, the side pockets are designed to lie flat and not add extra bulk. This pattern features two length variations: pants and shorts. Enjoy making the Carolina Culottes in different fabrics for different seasons and occasions!

Skill level: Adventurous Beginner.

Sizing: 8 – 22 (see sizing chart with the pictures below).

Fabric requirements: See Photo
* Includes belt loop option. Subtract 5cm if not adding belt loops.

Notions: 
- 1/2m lightweight fusible interfacing.
- 1m of 5cm elastic or 1.5m of 2.5cm elastic.
- Basic sewing supplies: thread, iron, scissors, machine, water soluble pen, glass head pins, measuring tape, etc.

Fabric suggestions: 
Rayon, linen/linen blends, cotton, chambray and other light to medium-weight woven fabrics.
