Bamboo Twill - Milo is a soft and drapey bamboo twill fabric with a smooth feel and comfortable crossgrain stretch. At 230 g/m², this midweight woven fabric is well suited to garments that need a clean silhouette while remaining comfortable to wear.

This bamboo blend combines 49% bamboo, 49% recycled polyester and 2% elastane. The recycled polyester is what makes the fabric crease-free and adds durability while the bamboo contributes to its soft handle. The elastane provides approximately 10% stretch across the grain and no stretch lengthwise.

Milo is a brown melange with a slight grey undertone. This muted colour gives the stretch bamboo twill a refined and versatile appearance that works across everyday and more tailored garments.

This bamboo twill fabric is also wrinkle-resistant, making it practical for clothing that needs to maintain a neat appearance with minimal pressing. MaaiDesign describes the wider Bamboo Twill range as soft, fluid and crease-resistant, with the blend helping the fabric retain its shape.

Use Milo for trousers, culottes, blazers, lightweight jackets, dresses and skirts. Machine wash at 30°C, do not tumble dry and use a medium iron if desired. Always pre-wash the fabric before starting your sewing project.

If you're looking for a soft, wrinkle-resistant bamboo twill with a little stretch and a subtle brown melange colour, Bamboo Twill - Milo is a practical choice for your next sewing project.
