Men's zippered hoodie jacket in maroon sweater knit and ribbing

This post is written by Beata Khaidurova. Despite the fact that I sew almost exclusively for myself, on some special occasions I do sew garments for the more special people in my life. This year I offered to sew my partner a casual hooded jacket for his birthday, and this was the result, which he has worn almost every day since. I am calling that a win! Hi, my name is Rosey Huf and I live in Adelaide with my two beautiful boys (aged 4 and 34). I learnt to sew on my mother's lap and am passionate about sustainable garment construction and minimising textile waste in landfill. So, when choosing the fabric for this Named Talvikki Sweater, my big question was - is it going to be stretchy enough to fit over my head??? During my 'research' into the pattern, I had come across some disaster stories of people completing the sweater and not actually being able to put it on because of...
