A little introduction to Kate:
Brought up in the North of England to a thrifty and industrious family, Kate has been sewing, refashioning, crafting and bargain hunting since her teens. After many years in the advertising industry she decided it was time to get hands on! She now teaches sewing and crafting in Sydney's Northern Beaches. Her blog is a relatively new venture, encouraged by her friends who enjoy her children's clothes and her own eclectic handmade wardrobe.
