A little introduction to Caroline:

Caroline, of UsefulBox, sews.  She sews anything she can.  Mostly clothing, for herself and family, but sometimes a toy, or paper or…her finger (just the once though). Inspired by her seamstress mother, Caroline began sewing at 10yrs old.  And after many, many good & terrible projects, she studied Fashion Design at the renowned East Sydney TAFE later working for Collette Dinnigan and Leona Edmiston.  Now as a proud wife and mum, you can still find her at the sewing machine with music blaring, barefoot and threads floating to the floor.  And having just launched her own Learn to Sew workshops and courses, she is happily spreading her love of sewing to students across Sydney and through her sewing blog.  She’s on a one-woman mission to get everyone sewing and not to fear inserting a zip!
