Join Maaike for a day of sewing in Sydney.
The concept is very simple: Just bring a project and we'll spend a day sewing together, doing what we love without interruptions.
This will take place at Usefulbox Sewing School, and we'll have room for 12 people.
BYO lunch but I'll bring morning & afternoon tea (please let me know if you have any dietary requirements.) There are also a few cafes in the area.

Note that you do need to go up 2 flights of stairs to get to the studio. But there are sewing machines available so you don't need to carry your machine up if you don't want to.

Entry is inside the front area with the door to the left. Please ring the bell to be let inside.
On the weekend, there are 3 x parking spots (1 x marked Usefulbox Teacher, 2 x under the tree). All other parking is on the street - the best streets to park in are Weymss or Perry Streets.
ACCESSIBILITY
Our studio is on level one of the building. There are two flights of stairs to enter the studio.

- 6 x Bernina 335 machines
- 6 x Brother A80 machines
- 2 x overlockers
- 1 x coverstitch machine
- 2 x ironing stations, hand steamer, pressing hams
- Various presser feet for all machines
- 6 x stand up cutting tables
- Cutting mats, rotary cutters, scissors and all other haberdashery.
- Tea & coffee machine, fridge, microwave, sink, milk
- Change rooom
- 2 x toilets
- Air conditioning
