PILAR is the jacket Maison Fauve has been dreaming of: a lovely straight cut, not too wide nor too short, with a top-stitched finish. It features Maison Fauve's signature pleat details, including stitched darts on the front of the jacket, and the option to add a beautiful inverted pleat in the back, transforming an iconic denim piece.

DIFFICULTY: Advanced, the technical aspects are the assembly of the collar, the making the fold, the precision of the darts stitched on the right side of the garment and the top stitching.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS (For a width of 140cm):
34 to 38 = 150 cm
40 to 44 = 165 cm
46 to 48 = 180 cm
50 to 52 = 190 cm
NOTIONS:
- 11 buttons from 15 to 20 mm (you can choose "real" denim jacket buttons but also covered buttons, buttons with holes, etc.)
- If you use a fabric other than denim, which is lighter or softer, apply iron-on interfacing to 1 of the collar pieces, the facing, the flaps, half of the cuffs and the waistband
SUGGESTED FABRICS: A denim fabric goes without saying, but also a mid-weight woolen fabric, a beautiful jacquard, gabardine, around 350 g/m2.
