Description

The Shoreline Shorts pattern is a simple but simply perfect kid shorts pattern. There are two lengths to choose from, optional pockets and an elasticated waist. The pattern is designed for medium weight knit fabrics such as French Terry or sweatshirt fleece.

This pattern is also available for Teen Male and Teen Female.

SKILL LEVEL: Adventurous Beginner.

SIZING: Ages from Prem./Small Newborn - 12 years.

SUPPLIES:
Waist Elastic: Use 20mm for ages 1 and under, 25mm for ages 2-6 and 30mm for ages 7-12.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Main Fabric: Medium weight knit fabrics are required, ideally with at least 50% stretch eg. cotton/Lycra French terry, sweatshirt fleece etc. Cotton/Lycra jersey can also be used but the fit will be a little more relaxed. Fabric with 4-way stretch is best but fabric with 2-way stretch can be used.
