Description

The Pick and Mix is the essential baby/toddler t-shirt pattern. Choose between a slimline t-shirt, a bodysuit, or a sleep shirt. Next, pick a crew (round) neck, snap neck, or envelope (lap) neck. Finally, add long or short sleeves with optional fold-over mittens on the long sleeves. The bodysuit has pattern pieces for cloth nappy wearers or disposable/undies wearers.

SKILL LEVEL: Adventurous Beginner.

SIZING: Ages from Prem./Small Newborn - 4 years.

SUPPLIES:
Snaps: The bodysuit will require three sets of snaps and the snap neck t-shirt will require 2 for smaller sizes and 3 for the larger. You will also need a scrap of woven fabric or heavy interfacing to reinforce the snaps.

Elastic: You will need a maximum of 50cm of 10mm wide elastic for the sleep shirt.


RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Main Fabric: Light to medium weight knit/stretch fabrics such as cotton/Lycra jersey or bamboo/Lycra jersey.

Ribbing:  Cotton/Lycra ribbing. Cotton/Lycra jersey can be used, but the neckband may need to be lengthened slightly.
