SUPPLIES:
Interfacing (reinforced heel option): You may wish to interface your heel fabric, depending on your fabric choice.

Padding: 0.5cm - 1.5cm wadding/batting.

Lining: Medium/thick warm fabrics such as sherpa, teddy, short-pile fur/faux fur or thick fleece.

Sole:

Option 1: Faux suede, suede, sewable non-slip fabric.

Option 2: Rubber sole and cement/specialised shoe glue.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Main Fabric: Medium-weight woven fabrics are best. Great choices include wool blends, tweed, corduroy, velvet, and soft denim. Heavier, stable knit fabrics can also be used. Fabrics with some give will be easier to work with when sewing the curves, especially around the heel.

Contrast Heel Fabric: (reinforced heel option only) Similar weight fabric to main fabric. This piece will remain unfinished around the edge on your final slippers so a fabric that doesn’t fray is preferable.
