High-quality boiled wool knit.

This fabric is perfect if you'd like to sew clothes that are cosy and durable.  It's a knitted fabric with a slight bouclé effect.  It doesn't fray and it looks almost identical on both sides so it works well for unlined jackets.  

Suitable for: Jackets, Jumpers, Cardigans and Vests.

Super warm wool

This boiled wool is the ultimate in warmth. I purchased the navy and raspberry colours as well as the camel. The raspberry colour is amazing. Bright and cheerful for winter wearing. Easy to sew and comfortable to wear. Keep in mind the weight. Seams need to be stitched flat and more than 2 layers of fabric in facings becomes bulky. I used exposed seams and facings to avoid this. The use of press studs is a better option than button holes as the fabric does have 2 way stretch.

I am very happy with my purchase from MaaiDesign. The boiled wool is a good weight, and I love the colour, although named ‘camel’ it has a pinkish tone which gives it a pop. Certainly will be back to this store. Quilly

Colour exactly as i imagined. Fabric lovely. Prompt delivery.
I made a sleeveless vest to wear over skivvies or shirts. fabric sewed easilly. i would recommend tacking seams together before machine sewing if you don't have a walking foot. I could send a photo of the garment id i had a mobile number.
