The Penny Pinny is a relaxed pinafore dress. It has either tie straps (which don’t need undoing in order to take the garment on and off) or traditional buckles. There are FIVE pockets for hiding all your stuff. There are two lengths - mini to sit above the knee and midi to cover the knee. A back split can be added to both lengths. It can be made with our without a button opening at the hip.
SKILL LEVEL: Adventurous Beginner.
SIZING: Ages from Prem./Small Newborn - 12 years.

SUPPLIES:
Some options require a small amount of medium interfacing (maximum 20cm).
Button front option: between 4 and 10 buttons (approximately 25mm)
Button side option: 4 buttons (approximately 15mm)
For the buckle option you need 2 x 32mm buckles and corresponding buttons.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Main Fabric: Medium weight woven fabric such as corduroy, denim or linen. Fabrics with a little stretch will create the most comfortable dress but non-stretch fabrics can be used. Softer fabrics will create a more flattering garment than stiff/structured ones.
