Soft heavy-weight Ponte knit fabric. (Often also called Ponte di Roma or Ponti)
This dressmaking fabric is great for structured knit garments, like skirts, dresses, pants and even jackets.
Ponte is a double knit fabric that doesn't wrinkle and is reversible. (It looks the same on both sides.)
Suitable for: structured knit garments, like skirts, dresses, pants, cardigans and even jackets.
Colour: Dark royal blue
Matching Gütermann thread: 310 or 711
Fabric Composition: 67% Viscose - 28% Nylon - 5% Spandex
Width: ~148cm
Weight: 340g/m2 (heavy-weight)
Drape: Medium
Stretch: 30% crossgrain, 30% lengthwise
Opacity: Opaque
Care: Wash at 30deg. C - do not tumble dry
Shrinkage: 8~10%
