Dressmaking success: The figure flattering Louisa Dress

So I made this dress last Saturday. My hubby was kind enough to take our 3 monsters walking in leech-infested mud in the Blue mountains -while dodging another massive summer hail storm - so that I could have some selfish sewing time! Isn't he the best!! (And didn't I feel slightly guilty although they had a ball!) I have been a huge fan of the patterns by Compagnie M for a while now. Marte - the designer - has a style that I just really love. Her designs are unique, modern while also a bit retro, just fabulous. Needless to say, I didn't have to think twice to be part of another pattern test for her. My daughter just turned seven. She still loves pink, and she still dreams of becoming a princess one day.
