ABOUT

Description

The Rib Sweater is our answer to a slouchy jersey jumper but with a bit more style. Think ‘big cosy sweatshirt’ that somehow manages to feel both supremely relaxed yet chic. The main feature of this garment is the voluminous sleeve and the use of ribbing to create an extended cuff with a matching hem and collar.

This pattern comes with two options for the collar height, the full version and a shorter version that sits lower on the neck. It is a simple piece to make which means it’s a great project for beginners. You’ll be using a simple overlocked/stretched seam type along with a very small amount of topstitching.

Skill level: Beginner.

Sizing: Sizes 4 - 28 (with PDF Layers)

For Body Measurements & Finished Garment Measurements, click here.

Construction techniques: Simple stretch stitch seams and a small amount of topstitching.

110 cm wide fabric: Sizes 4 – 16, 140 cm // Sizes 18 – 28, 190 cm.
