I only bought some rib trim but was treated so nicely and I will definitely buy from maai design again.
I want to make a Tessuti Brooklyn coatigan, I love the pattern and have made it before. It’s a very useful item as I wear casual layers in winter. Was keeping an eye out for a teal boiled wool but when I saw MaaiDesign was carrying a boiled wool in a teal marle I was really happy so snapped it up. I love marle colours and this is perfect. Also appreciate that it’s a bit heavier than other available boiled wools, but still at a reasonable price.
I have just made my third purchase from MaaiDesign. Each time my order has been in my hands a matter of days later. The fabric is beautiful and I can't wait to explore the website more.
I do a lot of stretch sewing for my grandkids but always had trouble finding good quality ribbing in matching colours. Not since I found Mai designs! So many colours to chose from, different weights and always great quality. Service was amazing.

The heavy bamboo jersey drapes & feels like silk but is a knit fabric. Lovely to sew. My favourite summer knit or evening fabric.
I recently purchased a beautiful length of Nerida Hansen Cotten Satin and I LOVE it. The process was amazing.
I ordered on line and the fabric arrived in record time and in perfect condition.
The fabric has the most beautiful feel and I think it will become a Be Mine Balloon Sleeved top by Pattern Emporium but I'm away from my machines at present so I'm going to have to be patient!!

Excellent customer service. Fabric matched its description however not as thick (warm) for our cold winters. It will sew into a dress and I’ll ewes thick tights.
