ABOUT

Description

Honeygirl is a comfortable, fitted tee designed specifically for cotton pointelles. Inspired by the shrunken tees of the 90s, View A is a baby tee featuring a chunky crew neck with short cap sleeves and a cropped length. View B has long sleeves, a scoop neck, and a hip-length hem. The two sleeve lengths have their own pattern files with separate bodice and sleeve pieces so that the fit is just right. You can mix and match the necklines and shirt lengths however you like to build even more variations for your wardrobe.

Skill level: Adventurous beginner.

Fabric requirements:
View A (cropped length/short sleeve): 115 cm) wide fabric: 0.9 – 1.5 m) // 150 cm wide fabric: 0.9 m.

View B (hip length/long sleeve): 115 cm wide fabric: 1.5 – 2.2 m // 150 cm wide fabric: 1.5 m.

Sizing: A – P (see sizing chart with the pictures below).

The pattern includes B cup and D cup options. If you have a 5-7.5 cm or less difference between your Upper Bust and Full Bust measurements, use the B cup front (no dart). If you have a difference of 10 cm or more, use the D cup (darted) front. Please note that a sewing cup size is not the same as your bra cup size.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (15 pages for short sleeve, 21 pages for long sleeve); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet for short sleeve, 2 sheets for long sleeve) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: Yes.

Fabric suggestions: This pattern has been designed specifically for cotton pointelles (openwork knits with dainty, repeating geometric patterns).

Other knits with high stretch can also be used. For compatibility with the neckband, the fabric must have at least 60% horizontal stretch. The best options are cotton double knits, rib knits, and thermal knits with less than 5% spandex. 100% cotton jerseys can work if the stretch percentage is high enough.
