All medium-weight fabrics are suitable. Heavier fabrics, such as denim, will also work, but it’s best to avoid very bulky fabrics like teddy or heavy coating fabrics, as they are difficult to double up neatly. Because the belt sections and the back panel are firmly reinforced with fusible interfacing, you can also opt for a lighter-weight fabric. Do keep in mind, however, that a more delicate fabric will be less practical for everyday use. For the interfacing, choose a fusible that is not too \u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003esoft. The extra-thick interfacings often used for bags are not necessary here.
