ABOUT
This wonderful fabric is created using traditional hand block print and dyeing techniques in Rajastan, India. It's a lightweight cotton batiste quilted over a cosy cotton batting. It's double sided with a different print on each side allowing you to create lots of different effects.
The handprinted nature of these fabrics means that there will be some irregularities in the print. We do not consider these to be faults but part of its charm and beauty.
Due to the hand-dyed nature of this product, you will initially need to wash it separately as the dye will run. You can add a handful of salt in the drum on the first wash, to help set the dye. They will naturally fade over time to give a beautiful vintage look.
