There is something incredibly rewarding about creating something by hand.
If you'd like to learn how to sew, or simply enhance your sewing skills, I'm assembling a list of sewing schools in Australia:
Make and Learn, Kingsford NSW
Make and Learn is a small studio specialising in bringing fun and creative small group classes to the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. At MAKEandLEARN, they teach sewing, pattern making, block construction, embroidery, knitting, crochet, patchwork and all things handmade. They even have after school classes for kids & teenagers!
UsefulBox, Ryde NSW
I would love to introduce you to the fabulous world of sewing, crafting, fabric obsessions and haberdashery collections, with my new sewing workshops.
Our workshops are for those who want to learn to sew, have bought a machine and don’t know where to start.
Once armed with the confidence to use your machine, this course will give you the oomph to work on lots of projects.

Sewing with Kate offers practical, hands-on private sewing classes in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
I also run workshops, sew-alongs and social sewing in the Balgowlah studio.
