Shadow Splash - Leia Viscose Crepe by Mind The Maker
This is a beautiful crepe fabric with a large-scale black print on a solid dyed base.
It has a slightly crisp texture with a lovely hand and a soft drape. It's slightly heavier than our other viscose fabrics making it perfect for trans-seasonal pieces.
It is made with ECOVERO™ Viscose fibers which is a sustainably certified viscose fiber. It's made of pulp from wood that derives only from certified and controlled wood sources. The production of ECOVERO™ Viscose only requires half the water compared to regular viscose production, and the CO2 emissions and use of energy is also halved, compared to conventional viscose production.
The ECOVERO™ fiber has been certified with the internationally recognised EcoLabel, which is only awarded to products and services which have a significantly lower environmental impact throughout their lifecycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal. The natural fibers from the wood make the ECOVERO™ Viscose very breathable and comfortable to wear. The fibers do not get static, they maintain their soft texture, and they keep the colors very well.
The fabric is also oeko-tex certified.
